This is my mummy recipe. I like this very much. This tastes like moong dal burfi.

Danedar besan burfi

Ingredients to make Danedar besan burfi

  • 250gm gram flour
  • 250 gm sugar
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 150 gm khoya
  • 3 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp black cardamom powder
  • water
  • Chopped almond for garnishing

How to make Danedar besan burfi

  1. First Gram flour mix with milk and ghee.
  2. Leave it for 15 minutes.
  3. Now fry it on medium flame for 10 minutes.
  4. After 15 minutes sieve it so that besan granules form.
  5. Now fry it for 3 mins.
  6. Now take sugar & water in a pan.
  7. Make a one string sugar syrup.
  8. Now add khoya & besan.
  9. Add cardamom powder also.
  10. Cook till it separates the ghee.
  11. Now grease a plate & spread mixture on the plate.
  12. Top with chopped almond.
  13. Cut & enjoy it.

My Tip:

From with utensil you measure sugar water should be half of it.
