About Mango Lassi Recipe

Lassi is a very popular indian drink that has its origin in Punjab. It can be both savoury / sweet, plain or fruit based. Mango lassi is equally relished by one and all during mango season. As mango is my favourite fruit, I indulge in mango lassi quite often to beat the summer heat. Country .....UAE.

Mango Lassi

Ingredients to make Mango Lassi

  • 2 medium mango, chopped
  • 1/2 cup yoghurt
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 tbsp. sugar or to taste
  • 1 tsp. rose water
  • 1/4 tsp. cardamom powder
  • few mixed nuts to garnish
  • pinch of saffron
  • few mint leaves

How to make Mango Lassi

  1. Blend together mango, yoghurt, milk, sugar, cardamom powder and rose water to a smooth puree.
  2. Pour into individual glasses and refrigerate for a minimum of an hour. Serve chilled, garnished with mixed nuts, saffron and mint leaves.
