Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Mutton Keema -1/4 kg
  2. Pottukadalai / Fried gram -3/4 cup
  3. Oil - for fry
  4. Salt - to taste
  5. Onion -1 finely chopped
  6. Green chilli -3 ,finely chopped
  7. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  8. Coriander powder - 3/4 tsp
  9. egg -1
  10. Cinnamon -1 inch stick
  11. Cardamom -2
  12. Black stone flower -1/2 tsp
  13. Cloves -3
  14. Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
  15. Ginger - 1 tsp ,chopped
  16. Garlic -2 pods
  17. Fennel seeds -1 tsp

Instructions

  1. *First clean and wash the keema,drain the water completely.In a kadai ,add the keema ,saute it well until it completely dry.Let it be cool
  2. Powder the fried gram dal to a fine powderHeat 1 tsp oil in a kadai saute the onion & green chilli well until the raw smell goes away.keep it aside.
  3. *Dry roast the cardamom,cinnamon,cloves,black stone flower.Once it cooled down first powder them,keep it aside.Then pulse the cooked kheema with grated coconut ,fennel seeds,ginger&garlic.
  4. Take the bowl add the keema mixture,freshly ground masala,salt,egg,fried gram powder,sauted onion mixture,red chilli powder,coriander powder .combine it well.Make a lemon size ball
  5. *Heat oil in a kadai,deep fry the balls until it turns golden brown,serve it hot with mint chutney !!
