ABOUT Chatpata Ghugni Chaat RECIPE

In my house usually its made with onion and GARLIC but this recipe of mine is easy and can be made in 5 mins. Inspite of staying out of India I tend to make ghugni at least every week but in different forms.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Yellow matar boiled with salt and turmeric around 500gms.
  2. Dry roasted cumin powder - 1 tsp
  3. Amchur powder - 1 tsp
  4. chaat Masala 1 teaspoon
  5. 1 small onion chopped
  6. green chillis - 1 [chopped]
  7. Minced ginger and green chilli - 1 tsp
  8. Tamarind pulp - 1 tsp
  9. lemon juice - 1 tsp
  10. Fresh corriander [handful]
  11. tomatoes chopped - 1
  12. Cucumber and carrot is optional.

Instructions

  1. Boil the yellow matar properly not over cooked.
  2. Take some boiled matar in a bowl and add chopped onions and fry roasted cumin powder.
  3. Add amchur powder and lil chaat Masala.
  4. Then put chopped fresh corriander,onion, green chillis and tomatoes
  5. Mix them well. And then add tamarind pulp and lemon as per your taste.
  6. Minced ginger is optional.
  7. That's all and it's like a chaat and can be eaten as many times as you want.
