ABOUT Simple Capcicum RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 small capcicum chopped ( medium size pieces )
  2. Green chillies and garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  3. Cumin ( jeera ) seeds - 1 teaspoon
  4. Turmeric - 2 teaspoon
  5. Roasted groundnut powder( coarse powder ) - 8 tablespoons
  6. Salt as required
  7. Oil - 1 tablespoon
  8. Water as required


  1. Heat oil in a kadai...A cumin ( jeera ) seeds and let it splutter..then add green chillies and garlic paste ...saute for sometime..
  2. Now add capsicum pieces and saute it ..add turmeric , mix well and close the kadai to cook the capcicum for 3 mins.
  3. Now add some water to cook the capcicum..again close the kadai to cook the capcicum for 3 mins ..
  4. Now add roasted groundnut powder..mix well ...add salt as required... again close the kadai till the capcicum cooks or till the gravy thickens or till you get the gravy consistency
  5. Remove from flame ... serve hot..
  6. Serve it with chappathi...
