Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fresh Green peas 1 cup
  2. potatoes 2
  3. Fresh coriander leaves 1 cup
  4. green chillies 3
  5. ginger 1 inch
  6. garlic 5 to 6 segments
  7. onion 1
  8. Grated coconut 3 tbsp
  9. oil 1 tbsp
  10. salt to taste
  11. Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  12. water as required
  13. cream to garnish


  1. Grind the coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger, garlic, onion and coconut into a fine paste by using a little water.
  2. Take the oil in a cooker, add the paste and stir for about a minute.
  3. Then add green peas, potato cubes, salt and garam masala.
  4. Stir and mix well.
  5. Add about 1 glass of water and cover the cooker, allow it to cool till 3 whistles blow.
  6. Serve it hot with a garnish of cream.
