About Classic Bundt Cake Recipe

This pretty cake gets its name from the tin that its baked in, but for me its just easy to slice and serve!

Classic Bundt Cake

Ingredients to make Classic Bundt Cake

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups raisins

How to make Classic Bundt Cake

  1. Preheat oven at 350°F or 175°C.
  2. Sift maida, salt and baking powder.
  3. Take another bowl, blend eggs and sugar till sugar dissolves.
  4. Add the raisins and mix well.
  5. Grease and flour the bundt pan really well or use a non stick pan. Pour prepared batter into pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
  6. Allow the cake to cool down once baked.
  7. Sieve some icing sugar on top and serve.
