Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup leftover dal
  2. 2 cups water/butter milk
  3. 1 tbsp rawa
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Curd (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a pan take the leftover dal and add water /buttermilk to the dal. Add salt as required as the leftover dal already has salt in it.
  2. Bring it to boil. Add rawa to it while stirring it continuously or else it will form lumps.
  3. Boil it for 2-3 minutes till the rawa is cooked. Make sure that the khichunga is not thick and it has pouring consistency.
  4. Serve the rawa khichadi hot. It tastes great with curd.
