Its very yummy and one of the favourite recipes made by my mom.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Overnight soaked sago 1 cup
  2. Milk 1 litre
  3. Sugar according to taste
  4. Chopped mix dry fruits 1 tablespoon
  5. Colourful sprinklers 1 tablespoon
  6. Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Saffron strings 7-8
  8. Rose flavour 1 teaspoon
  9. Rose syrup 1/2 tablespoon
  10. Edible rose petals 1/2 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. First drain sago and keep aside.
  2. Now take a heavy bottom pan and add milk . Boil milk
  3. When milk start boiling simmer the flame and add saffron strings.
  4. Now add soaked sago and keep stirring.
  5. Soon sago will become transparent and milk thickens. Add sugar and chopped dry fruits at this stage.
  6. Keep stirring and scrape sides of the pan.
  7. When milk comes in desired consistency then switch off the flame and add cardamom powder . Stir nicely.
  8. Now let it cool completely . When it cools down , then add rose flavour and rose syrup.
  9. Now garnish with rose petals and colourful sprinklers.
  10. Serve as it is or chill for 2 hours.
  11. Ready to enjoy.
