ABOUT Indian Fish Korma RECIPE

It's traditional fish korma recipe,which is really tasty and easy to make.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For marination, 400 gram boneless fish
  2. 1 tsp salt
  3. 1 tsp ginger paste
  4. 1 tsp garlic paste
  5. 1/2 lemon juice
  6. 1 tsp red kashmiri chilli powder
  7. 1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves
  8. For ground paste, 2 fried onion
  9. 50 gram fresh coconut
  10. 30 gram roasted peanuts
  11. 10 almonds
  12. 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds
  13. 2 tsp roasted corriender seeds
  14. 1 inch cinamon stick
  15. 2 cloves
  16. 2 green cardamom
  17. 100 gram curd
  18. 1 tsp ginger paste
  19. 1 tsp garlic paste
  20. 2 medium size tomato
  21. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  22. 1 tbsp red kashmiri chilli powder
  23. 1 tsp dry fenugreek leaves
  24. Salt as per taste
  25. Mustard Oil for fry and cooking
  26. For serving, fresh chopped corriender
  27. 1 tsp lemon juice
  28. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  29. Some ginger sliced

Instructions

  1. Wash the fish pieces nicely and keep in stainer aside to remove water
  2. Now add all marinate masala with lemon juice, nicely crushed fanugreek leaves and salt and mix well and coat the fish pieces with this masala and marinate it for 10 to 15 minutes
  3. Now heat oil in a pan and fry the fish for 4 to 5 minutes,consume remaing marinate masala for next step
  4. Take all ground masala ingredients with curd in mixer jar and make fine smooth paste of this
  5. Now heat oil in pan add ginger and garlic paste in it and roast till raw smell gone
  6. Add tomato paste in it and saute till oil seems in the pan sides
  7. Now add consume masala,red kashmiri chilli powder,turmeric powder and saute it for 2 to 3 minutes
  8. Now add coconut and peanuts ground masala paste in it and stir it for 2 to 3 minutes
  9. When masala nicely roast add fenugreek leaves in it and mix well and add some water to roast masala
  10. Now add fried fish pieces in it and cover it to cook for 2 to 3 minutes
  11. When it done finally add chopped corriender, garam masala,lemon juice and ginger slice and mix and switch of gas
  12. Now fish Korma is ready to serve,serve this hot with naan or chapati for more taste
