Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Gram flour 2 cup
  2. curd 2 cup
  3. Cloves, bay leaf, black pepper, start spice
  4. Turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder 1tsp
  5. Pinch of sugar
  6. onion 2 medium size chopped
  7. Green chilli 2-3 chopped
  8. garlic 3-4 chopped
  9. ginger 1/2 inch chopped
  10. Cooking soda pinch of

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add gram flour, pinch of cooking soda,salt and 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder
  2. Knead it make a dough with the help of curd
  3. Made small logs (gatte) from the dough
  4. Boil in water for 10-15 min
  5. Keep it out and dry it with a help of cloth or kitchen paper
  6. Deep fry the gatte on low flame for 10min
  7. Keep the gatte and make gravy
  8. Now in a pan take 3-4 tbsp oil and fry the the ingredients
  9. Fry till the onion turns in golden colour and add Turmeric powder and coriander powder, red chilli powder
  10. After a minute add curd and stir it continuously for a minute or two
  11. Turn off the gas and cool it on room temperature and grind it into a fine paste
  12. Now take a pan add bay leaf,dried red chilli and add the paste into it
  13. Fry for 5min add salt to taste, pinch of sugar and fried gatte
  14. Add the leftover water used for boiling gatte and cover and cook for 10min at low flame
  15. Serve with hot roti and ghee
