Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Moong dal 2 cup
  2. Tender bottlegourd chopped 2 cup
  3. Water 3-4 cup
  4. Jaggery 1 1/2 cup
  5. Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  6. Raisins few

Instructions

  1. DRY FRY MOONG DAL 2 CUP
  2. SAUTE CONTINUOUSLY IN LOW FLAME
  3. FRY TILL BROWN COLOUR
  4. ADD TENDER BOTTLEGOURD IN TO HOT WATER
  5. ADD FRIED MOONG DAL
  6. MIX, COVER AND COOK FOR 3-4 WHISTLES
  7. TRANSFER INTO A THICK BOTTOMED PAN
  8. ADD JAGGERY, ALLOW IT TO DISSOLVE COMPLETELY
  9. RAISINS
  10. CARDAMOM POWDER
  11. BRING IT TO BOIL UNTIL THICKNESS, TURN OFF THE FLAME, SERVE IN WARM
