ABOUT Seyal Egg Bite RECIPE

Seyal egg basically belongs to sindhi cuisine, it can be served in breakfast, dinner ,lunch, or brunch. This recipe has a little twist to make it more suitable for brunch.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 big onions finely chopped
  2. 3 Green chlillies (2 finely chopped , 1 for chutney)
  3. 1 cup Coriander finely chopped
  4. 3 Tomatoes (2 finely chopped and 1 cut in big slices)
  5. I tea spoon lemon juice
  6. 1/2 tspn Red Chilli powder
  7. 1/2 tspn coriander powder
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 2-3 tspn Oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions, saute,add chopped green chillies, saute till onions turns translucent.
  2. Mean while take a mixer jar, add peanuts, grind. Now add coriander and green chillies, and small amount of water to form thick chutney. Add lemon juice and salt in it. Keep it aside.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes, add red chilli powder (optional) ,salt , coriander powder, stirr. Masala is ready
  4. Break 4 egg in bowl . gently pour this in same pan.
  5. Without using spatula. Do not mix it. Just cover the lid . Pan should be kept on medium to high flame now.
  6. After 2 minute when egg started turning caky, spread green chutney. And tomato slices. Cover the lid again.
  7. After couple of minutes insert tooth pick or knife. If it comes out clean , switch off the flame.
  8. Cut this in pizza like slices. Serve hot, with butter toast
