Spicy poha

Ingredients to make Spicy poha

  • Poha - 2 cups
  • peanuts - 4 tspn
  • onions - 1 to 2
  • haldi - 1/2 tspn
  • red chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
  • pepper powder - 1/2 tspn
  • Chaat masala - 1 tspn
  • capsicum(optional ) - 1/2
  • coriander leaves - 1/2 tspn
  • oil for frying
  • salt as per taste

How to make Spicy poha

  1. HEAT OIL IN A KADHAI, ADD PEANUTS
  2. WHEN THEY ARE HALF COOKED, ADD ONIONS, GREEN CHILLIES
  3. SAUTE THEM TILL ONIONS BECOMES TRANSLUCENT
  4. WASH THE POHA PROPERLY IN A SIEVE.
  5. LET IT SIT SO THAT ALL WATER DRAINS OUT
  6. ADD HALDI, RED CHILLI POWDER
  7. ADD PEPPER POWDER, SALT
  8. NOW ADD THE POHA
  9. MIX WELL SO THAT THE MASALA GETS DISTRIBUTED PROPERLY
  10. ADD GHEE
  11. ADD CHUNKY CHAAT MASALA
  12. IN THE END, ADD FEW DROPS OF LEMON JUICE AND MIX
