Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. For samosa crust 
  2. Organic Whole wheat flour 1 cup
  3. Ghee or butter 1 teaspoon
  4. Oil 1 teaspoon
  5. Salt 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Carom seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Water to form the dough
  8. Filling
  9. Paanch phoron 1 tablespoon
  10. Potatoes 2, diced
  11. Peanuts 2 tablespoon roughly chopped
  12. Green chilies 2-3, chopped 
  13. Ginger 1 inch, grated
  14. Sugar 1/2 teaspoon
  15. Salt per taste
  16. Vegetable oil
  17. Bhaja moshla (roasted and ground spices) 
  18. Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon 
  19. Coriander seeds 1 teaspoon
  20. Dried red chilly 1

Instructions

  1. IN A TADKA PAN TAKE 1 DRIED RED CHILLY, 1 TEASPOON CORIANDER SEEDS, 1/2 TEASPOON CUMIN SEEDS
  2. DRY ROAST ON A LOW FLAME.
  3. AFTER COOLING PUT THEM IN A GRINDER
  4. BHAJA MOSHLA IS READY
  5. IN A KADAI TAKE 1 TABLESPOON OIL, TEMPER WITH 1 TABLESPOON PAANCH PHORON
  6. ADD 1 TEASPOON GRATED GINGER AND 1 TEASPOON CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES
  7. 1 CUP OF SMALL DICED POTATOES
  8. 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
  9. 1 TABLESPOON WATER AND COOK THE POTATOES
  10. ADD THE BHAJA MOSHLA
  11. ADD 2 TABLESPOON ROASTED AND CHOPPED PEANUTS
  12. FILLING FOR SAMOSA IS READY
  13. TAKE 1 CUP WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR, 1 TEASPOON SALT
  14. 1/2 TEASPOON CAROM SEEDS
  15. 1 TEASPOON GHEE
  16. 1 TEASPOON OIL
  17. KNEAD THE DOUGH
  18. KNEAD A FIRM DOUGH
  19. APPLY OIL ON THE SURFACE AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 1-2 HOURS
  20. APPLY OIL AND ROLL SMALL PORTION OF THE DOUGH INTO A THIN DISC
  21. CUT IT ROUND WITH A KATORI
  22. MAKE TWO EQUAL HALVES
  23. APPLY WATER ON THE EDGE
  24. BRING WATERED EDGE OVER OTHER EDGE TO FORM CONE
  25. FILL IT UP WITH THE FILLING
  26. APPLY WATER AND SEAL IT
  27. PRESS WITH FORK
  28. BRUSH THE SAMOSA WITH OIL
  29. BAKE IN PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 DEGREES FOR 20MINUTES
