Dry and spicy chilli chicken marinated in sauce.

Dry Chilli Chicken

Ingredients to make Dry Chilli Chicken

  • 500 gm boneless chicken
  • 3 Bell peppers
  • 2 medium sized onions
  • 2 large sized potatoes
  • Handful of spring onions
  • 3 tablespoons of tomato ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon ginger garlic
  • 1 tablespoon tomato puree
  • 2 tablespoons soya sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon green chilli
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch

How to make Dry Chilli Chicken

  1. Marinate the chicken in ginger-garlic paste (half), eggs, cornstarch (half), salt to taste and green chillies. Marinate it for atleast 3 hours.
  2. Heat a pan and shallow fry it the marinated chicken. You can also deep fry it (optional). Then take out the chicken and put it on a paper towel.
  3. In the same pan, put in all the veggies except the potatoes. Now add the remaining ginger-garlic paste, sauces and cook for 2 mins. Then add the remaining corn starch with a little water and add the chicken pieces. ..
  4. Finally take the baking tray, put in all the mixture and potatoes on top (cut the potatoes into long slices). Bake this for 15 mins.
  5. Enjoy it warm.
