ABOUT Pomfret Fish Fry RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3 slices of pomfret fish
  2. 1 1/2 tesp red chilli powder
  3. 1/2 tesp corriander powder
  4. Salt 1/2 tesp
  5. Turmeric powder 1/4 tesp
  6. Tamrind 1 lemon size soaked in 5tbsp hot water
  7. 1/2 cup oil to shallow fry

Instructions

  1. Take the tamarind extract,add the ingredients and make a paste.
  2. Apply this all over the sliced fish, set aside for 20 minutes.
  3. Add 1/2 cup oil to the pan and keep on medium flame.
  4. Once hot add the fish and shallow fry tossing it, till brown and soft.
