  1. 250g all purpose flour
  2. 1 tsp baking powder
  3. 1 tsp baking soda
  4. 1/2 tsp salt
  5. 110g soft butter
  6. 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  7. 2 eggs
  8. 1 cup sour cream
  9. 2 tsp vanilla extract
  10. For topping
  11. 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  12. 1 tbsp espresso powder
  13. 1.5 tsp cinnamon powder
  14. 150g chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. PREPARE CAKE TIN
  2. MIX AND SIEVE DRY INGREDIENTS AND KEEP IT ASIDE
  3. BEAT BUTTER AND SUGAR UNTIL CREAMY
  4. ADD EGGS 1 AT A TIME AND BEAT UNTIL FROTHY
  5. ADD VANILLA EXTRACT AND BLEND WELL
  6. ADD SOUR CREAM AND BLEND
  7. SLOWLY ADD DRY INGREDIENTS AND BLEND UNTIL JUST COMBINED. IT WILL BE THICK BATTER
  8. IN A BOWL, ADD SUGAR, CINNAMON AND ESPRESSO. MIX WELL
  9. POUR HALF BATTER IN CAKE TIN. SPRINKLE CINNAMON SUGAR MIX, CHOCOLATE CHIPS
  10. ADD REMAINING BATTER, CINNAMON MIXTURE AND CHOCOLATE CHIPS
  11. BAKE FOR 25-35 MINUTES IN PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 UNTIL DONE
  12. ALLOW TO COOL FOR 20 MINUTES
  13. DEMOULD AND COOL COMPLETELY
  14. SLICE AND SERVE DELICIOUS CAKE
