ABOUT Pan Grilled Chicken RECIPE

Grilled Chicken breast succulent tender meat not overly spiced yet very flavorful and moist. Ideal to serve with salads and sides on hot summer days without firing the regular grill.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. chicken fillets -3 (one large cut into 2 )
  2. mayo- 1 tbsp
  3. garlic powder-1 tsp
  4. pepper powder- 1 tsp
  5. olive oil 2-3 tsp
  6. lime juice - of 1 lime
  7. salt to taste


  1. Trim off the fat
  2. Gently slice the meat horizontally into two
  3. Wash well and pay dry with a paper towel
  4. To 1 tbsp mayo add garlic pd 1 tsp,pepper pd 1tsp,salt
  5. Add olive oil 2 tsp and juice of 1 lime
  6. Mix well
  7. Apply half the marinade and keep it for 20 mts
  8. Heat a grilling pan and put the breast pieces without overcrowding
  9. On medium heat allow chicken to cook and apply rest of the marinade
  10. Do not disturb or move the pieces,this ensures beautiful grill marks. Only after 10 mts turn
  11. Cook both sides until cooked takes about 9-10 mts per side. Should be fork tender & not pink inside
  12. Do not over cook chicken breast it will turn chewy and tough. Cook only in low to medium heat.
  13. Do not leave the cooked chicken on pan else it will dry out. Serve immediately with salads & sides.
  14. Chicken served with salad and Black rice
