  1. Ripe alphonso mango 1
  2. Fresh curd 1/2 cup
  3. Grated coconut 1 tablespoon
  4. Green chillies 2
  5. Mustard seeds 1 tablespoon
  6. Jeera 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Oil 1 teaspoon
  8. Curry leaves few
  9. Salt accordingly
  10. Asafoetida a pinch

Instructions

  1. TAKE A RIPE ALPHONSO MANGO OR ANY SWEET VARIETY OF MANGO YOU LIKE
  2. PEEL THE SKIN
  3. LIKE THIS
  4. CHOP INTO FINE PIECES
  5. COLLECT THE CUT PIECES IN A BOWL
  6. IN A BLENDER ADD 2 GREEN CHILLIES
  7. ADD 1/2 TEASPOON MUSTARD SEEDS AND JEERA SEEDS
  8. ADD 1 TABLESPOON GRATED COCONUT
  9. GRIND THE COCONUT WITH LITTLE WATER
  10. GRIND TO A COARSE PASTE AND ADD IT TO THE CUT MANGO PIECES
  11. IN THE SAME BLENDER ADD 1/2 CUP FRESH CURD AND GIVE A WHIP
  12. ADD IT TO THE MANGO PIECES
  13. ADD ADEQUATE SALT
  14. MIX WELL
  15. HRAT 1 TEASPOON OIL IN A TADKA PAN AND ADD MUSTARD SEEDS AND CURRY LEAVES
  16. ADD A PINCH OF ASAFOETIDA
  17. ADD THE TEMPERING TO THE RAITHA
  18. MIX THE TEMPERING
  19. MANGO RAITHA IS READY TO SERVE
