Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Dry dates(chhuhara) - 1/2 kg
  2. sugar - 1 1/2 cup
  3. ghee - 2 tspn
  4. water for soaking
  5. Walnuts/almonds for garnishing

Instructions

  1. SOAK THE DRY DATES OVER NIGHT. DESEED THEM AND CUT IN LENGHTWISE.
  2. TRANSFER THEM IN THE MIXER GRINDER.
  3. ADD MILK ALONG WITH CREAM
  4. GRIND THEM TO FORM A SMOOTH PASTE
  5. HEAT GHEE IN A KADHAI
  6. ADD THE CHHUHARA PASTE AND STIR WELL
  7. COOK IT BY STIRRING WELL
  8. MAKE SURE THAT IT DOES NOT STICK TO THE PAN
  9. ADD SUGAR AND COOK TILL IT DISSOLVES WELL
  10. SLOWLY IT WILL START TURNING BROWN IN COLOR
  11. ONCE ITS REDUCED, SWITCH OFF THE FLAME
