Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Besan flour 1 bowl
  2. Rice flour 3/4 bowl
  3. Pepper powder 1 tsp
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Water
  6. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  7. Cooking oil
  8. Chopped garlic 1/4 cup
  9. Chopped onion 1 cup
  10. Tomato sauce 3-4 tsp
  11. Soya sauce 1-2 tsp
  12. Cauliflower florets 2 cup
  13. Corn flour 1-2 tsp
  14. Water 1/4 cup
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Coriander leaves chopped 1 cup

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1 CUP GRAM FLOUR, ADD 3/4 CUP RICE FLOUR
  2. ADD 1 TSP PEPPER POWDER, SALT TO TASTE, MIX
  3. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER, MIX WELL TO AVOID LUMPS
  4. ADD 1/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER, MAKE A SMOOTH BATTER
  5. THE BATTER SHOULD BE THICK & RUNNY LIKE THIS
  6. IMMERSE 2 CUPS CAULIFLOWER FLORETS IN HOT WATER
  7. DIP THE BLANCHED CAULIFLOWER FLORETS INTO THE READY BATTER, DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL ON MEDIUM HEAT
  8. FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
  9. THEY'RE DONE NOW, TAKE OFF HEAT
  10. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL, ADD 1/4 CUP CHOPPED GARLIC, FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN
  11. ADD 1 CUP CHOPPED ONION, FRY TILL TRANSLUCENT
  12. ADD 3-4 TBSP TOMATO SAUCE
  13. ADD 1-2 TSP SOYA SAUCE, SAUTE
  14. MIX 2 TSP CORNFLOUR WITH 1/4 CUP WATER TO MAKE A SMOOTH SLURRY
  15. ADD IT TO THE ONION MIX, SAUTE TILL IT TURNS THICK
  16. ADD SALT TO TASTE, 1 CUP CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES, MIX WELL
  17. ADD THE FRIED CAULIFLOWER, MIX & SERVE HOT
