  1. tomatoes 2
  2. onions 2
  3. Green chillies 3
  4. Garlic pods 6
  5. Curry leaves few
  6. Oil 1 tablespoon
  7. Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Urad dal 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Cloves 2
  10. Cinnamon 2 small bits
  11. Fennel + Jeera powder 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Sambar powder 1/2 teaspoon
  13. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  14. Salt 1 teaspoon
  15. Coriander leaves few
  16. Grated coconut 1tablespoon

Instructions

  1. CHOP 2 ONIONS,2 TOMATOES,3 GREEN CHILLIES AND 6 GARLIC PODS
  2. HEAT OIL IN A KADAI AND ADD 1 TABLESPOON OIL
  3. ADD 1/2 TEASPOON MUSTARD SEEDS AND 1/2 TEASPOON URAD DAL AND LET IT SPLUTTER
  4. ADD 2 CLOVES AND 2 SMALL BITS OF CINNAMON
  5. ADD FEW CURRY LEAVES
  6. ADD CHOPPED GARLIC AND GREEN CHILLIES
  7. ADD CHOPPED ONIONS
  8. STIR WELL
  9. ADD CHOPPED TOMATOES
  10. STIR WELL
  11. ADD 1 TEASPOON SALT
  12. ADD 1/4 TEASPOON TURMERIC POWDER
  13. ADD 1/2 TEASPOON SAMBAR POWDER
  14. STIR WELL
  15. ADD 1 CUP WATER
  16. STIR WELL AND COOK IN MEDIUM FLAME FOR 5 MINUTES
  17. THE GRAVY HAS THICKENED
  18. ADD 1 TEASPOON OF FENNEL+ JEERA POWDER
  19. CHOP FEW CORIANDER LEAVES AND TAKE 1 TABLESPOON OF GRATED COCONUT FOR GARNISHING
  20. ADD THE CORIANDER LEAVES
  21. ADD THE GRATED COCONUT
  22. MIX WELL
  23. SERVE WITH CHAPPATHIS
