  1. 200 gms soya chunks
  2. 1/4 kg rice
  3. 1 cinnamon piece
  4. 3 lavangas [cloves]
  5. 1 cup dahi [yoghurt]
  6. 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  7. 1 bunch mint leaves
  8. 1/2 cup onion
  9. tomato - 1
  10. potato - 1
  11. 1 tsp salt
  12. 1/2 tsp chili powder
  13. 1/2 tsp biryani masala
  14. Turmeric powder - 1/4 th tsp

Instructions

  1. TAKE A BOWL POUR DAHI
  2. ADD RED CHILI POWDER,SALT, BIRYANI MASALA,HALDI
  3. ADD GINGER GARLIC PASTE, LEMON JUICE MIX WELL
  4. ADD SOYA CHUNKS, POTATO DICED,ONION SLICES,REDCHILI SLICES IN A MASALA DAHI
  5. PUT MINT LEAVES, CHOPPED TOMATOES MIX WELL ALL VEGGIES SHOULD MARINATE 20 MIN..
  6. AFTER 20 MIN. HEAT GHEE OR OIL IN A PRESSURE COOKER PAN.
  7. PUT CINNAMON PIECE, LAVANGAS,SHAJEERA,THEN ONION SLICES
  8. ADD FRESH MINT LEAVES,FRI WELL IT GETS NICE AROMA
  9. SAUTE FOR FEW SECONDS AND THEN ADD MARINATED DAHI SOYA CHUNKS GRAVY
  10. SAUTE THE SOYA CHUNKS GRAVY
  11. ADD SALT, AND THE SOAKED RICE AFTER STRAINING IT.
  12. ADD WATER AS REQUIRED.
  13. FINALLY ADD CHOPPED MINT INTO THE COOKER, CLOSE LID AND COOK UNTIL 2 WHISTLES ARE ATTAINED..REMOVE LID AND SERVE BIRYANI
  14. GARNISH WITH ONION RINGS,MINT LEAVES WITH LEMON READY TO SERVE
