ABOUT North Indian roti meal RECIPE

This menu has tandoor roti prepared on stove, chicken masala and anonion pepper salad along with some curd. A delicious sumptious meal for weekends or holidays.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For chicken masala
  2. chicken 1/2 kg
  3. onion 2 big
  4. tomato 1 big
  5. ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  6. chilli powder 1 tablespoon
  7. Thaniya powder 2 tablespoon
  8. Garam masala 1/2 tablespoon
  9. salt as required
  10. cinnamon 2,cloves,bay leaves 2
  11. For tandoori roti
  12. Wheat flour 1/2 kg
  13. curd 3 tablespoon
  14. salt as required
  15. sugar 1 table spoon
  16. Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. TAKE 3 TABLESPOON OF OIL IN A PAN
  2. ADD RAW GARAM MASALA AND ONION
  3. FOLLOWED BY ONIONS ADD GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  4. ADD CHICKEN AND FRY NICELY IN ONION GINGER GARLIC MASALA
  5. NOW ADD TOMATO AND SALT AND MIX NICELY
  6. NOW ADD CHILLI POWDER ,THANIYA POWDER AND STIR NICELY
  7. ADD GARAM MASALA AND LITTLE JEERA POWDER
  8. AND MIX EVERYTHING TOGETHER WITH CHICKEN NICELY
  9. AND NOW ADD 1CUP OF WATER ANX ALLOW IT TO COOK FOR TEN TO FIFTEEN MINUTES
  10. ONCE CHICKEN IS COOKED NICELY AND FLAVOURFUL ADD SOME CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES
  11. FINALLY ADD SOME CRUSHED PEPPER AND MIX NICELY
  12. NOW THE CHICKEN MASALA IS READY TO SERVE
  13. THIS IS FOR TANDOOR ROTI I MIXED THE ATTA WITH CURD SUGAR SALT AND BAKING SODA AND COVER IT FOR 3HR
  14. THEN U HAVE TO ROLL IT AND APPLY WATER ON ONE SIDE AND APPLY THE SAME SIDE ON PAN
  15. ONCE THE BUBBLES STARTED COMING JUST FLIP THE PAN AND SHOW IT IN DIRECT FLAME SHOW IT THROUGH OUT
