Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. For Garlic Naan
  2. 1 cup maida
  3. Half tsp sugar
  4. 2 tsp oil
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  7. 3/4 tsp Baking Powder
  8. half cup yoghurt (adjust)
  9. 3 tbsp butter
  10. 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
  11. 1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander
  12. For Chicken tikka masala
  13. 500g boneless chicken cut into cubes
  14. For Marination
  15. 4 tbsp yoghurt
  16. 1 tsp cumin powder
  17. 1 tsp chicken masala/garam masala
  18. 1 tsp lime juice
  19. 1.5 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  20. Salt to taste
  21. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  22. 1/4 tsp pepper
  23. For gravy
  24. 3 Onions finely Chopped
  25. 3 tomatoes roughly chopped
  26. 2 tsp melon seeds
  27. 3 tbsp cashews
  28. 1 bay leaf
  29. 4 CARDAMOM
  30. 3 cloves
  31. 1 strand javitri
  32. 1 inch cinnamon stick
  33. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  34. 1/2 cup Cream
  35. Salt to taste
  36. half teaspoon garam masala
  37. 1 tablespoon kashmiri red chilli powder
  38. 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  39. 1.5 tbsp coriander powder
  40. 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  41. 1 tsp Lemon juice
  42. 1 small capsicum cubed
  43. 1 onion cubed
  44. 1 tomato cubed
  45. Water as required
  46. 3 tbsp oil
  47. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

Instructions

  1. ADD ALL INGREDIENTS MENTIONED UNDER MARINATION SECTION IN A BOWL. MIX WELL
  2. ADD CHICKEN, MARINATE, COVER AND KEEP IT ASIDE FOR 1-2 HOURS
  3. INSERT CHICKEN TO SKEWERS
  4. HEAT OIL IN A GRILL PAN AND GRILL CHICKEN
  5. IT SHOULD BE WELL BROWNED ON ALL SIDES
  6. KEEP THE COOKED CHICKEN TIKKA ASIDE
  7. GRIND TOMATOES WITH CASHEWS AND MELON SEEDS TO FORM PUREE
  8. HEAT OIL IN A PAN, ADD BAY LEAF AND WHOLE SPICES. SPLUTTER CUMIN SEEDS
  9. ADD CHOPPED ONION AND SALT. SAUTE UNTIL BROWN
  10. ADD GINGER GARLIC PASTE AND SAUTE UNTIL RAW AROMA GOES OFF
  11. ADD SPICE POWDERS EXCEPT GARAM MASALA AND MIX WELL
  12. ADD SALT AND PUREE. MIX WELL SAUTE UNTIL OIL STARTS LEAVING SIDES
  13. CUT CHICKEN TIKKA IN SMALLER PIECES
  14. ADD TIKKA TO PAN. MIX WELL
  15. ADD WATER AND BRING TO BOIL
  16. ADD CUBED ONIONS AND COOK FOR 3-4 MINUTES
  17. ADD CUBED CAPSICUM AND TOMATO. COOK FOR 2 MINUTES
  18. ADD CORIANDER LEAVES, LEMON JUICE, GARAM MASALA AND CREAM. MIX WELL FOR A MINUTE. SWITCH OFF
  19. ADD SALT, SUGAR, BAKING SODA AND BAKING POWDER TO FLOUR IN A BOWL
  20. ADD YOGHURT AND 1 TSP OIL. KNEAD FOR 10 MINUTES TO FORM A SMOOTH DOUGH
  21. COAT WITH OIL , COVER AND REST IN WARM PLACE FOR 1-2 HOURS
  22. MELT BUTTER WITH GARLIC AND CORIANDER LEAVES. KEEP IT ASIDE
  23. TAKE LEMON SIZED BALL AND ROLL INTO OVAL SHAPED ROTI NEITHER THICK NOR THIN
  24. BRUSH WATER ON ONE SIDE
  25. FLIP AND PLACE ON HOT TAWA. PRESS TO STICK TO TAWA
  26. BRUSH WITH MELTED GARLIC BUTTER
  27. FLIP TAWA AND COOK DIRECTLY ON FLAME UNTIL TOP IS BROWNED
  28. APPLY BUTTER BEFORE SERVING
  29. SERVE HOT
