Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bottle gourd - 1 cup [chopped]
  2. 1 cup chana daal
  3. 1 tbsp Ginger crushed
  4. A pinch heeng [asafoetida]
  5. 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  6. 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  7. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 3_4 green chilli

Instructions

  1. THE CHANA DAL HAS BEEN SOAKED OVER NIGHT IN WATER, AND ALONG WITH IT IS THE CHOPPED BOTTLE GOURD.
  2. THESE ARE CHOPPED TOMATOES, GINGER, GREEN CHILLIES
  3. CUMIN SEEDS HEENG
  4. ADD HEENG CUMIN SEEDS IN HOT OIL, IN A PAN, TILL THEY CRACKLE
  5. ADD RED CHILLI ,TURMERIC
  6. SAUTE TOMATOES AND ADD THE DRY SPICES.
  7. ADD CHANA DAAL & LAUKI
  8. ADD WATER AND LEAVE TO ATTAIN A WHISTLE.
