ABOUT DRY KALA MASALA CHANA RECIPE

This dry kala chana sabzi is really flavorful , because there are spices and sauce added . These spices and sauce are simmered with chana , so it becomes thick coated to the chana which makes the most flavorful and tasty Kala Chana .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Soaking black chana - 1 cup
  2. Onion chopped - 1 no
  3. Green chilli chopped - 2 no
  4. Green chilli sauce - 1 teaspoon
  5. Tomato sauce - 1 tablespoons
  6. Sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. HEAT 1 TABLESPOONS OIL IN A PAN ADD 1 TEASPOON CRUSHED GARLIC
  2. ADD 4 TABLESPOONS CHOPPED ONION AND 2 NO CHOPPED GREEN CHILLI FRY IT AND SOAKING CHANA
  3. FRY IT WELL THEN ADD 1/2 TEASPOON TURMERIC POWDER , 1/2 TEASPOON CUMIN POWDER , 1/2 TEASPOON SUGAR
  4. NOW ADD 1/2 TEASPOON GARAM MASALA POWDER , 1/2 TEASPOON RED CHILLI POWDER AND SALT TO TASTE
  5. FRY FOR 5 - 7 MINUTES OR UNTIL THE MASALA AND CHANA WELL FRY
  6. NOW ADD 1 TABLESPOONS TOMATO SAUCE AND 1 TEASPOON CHILLI SAUCE AND MIX WELL
  7. FRY IT
  8. FRY IT WELL AND ADD 1/2 CUP OF WATER , MIX WELL AND COVER THE LID
  9. REMOVE THE COVER AND FRY IT WELL
  10. READY TO SERVE AND ENJOYYYYYYYYY
