Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ash gourd 200 gms
  2. Fresh cow peas 100 gms
  3. Green chillies 4
  4. ginger 1/2 inch
  5. Grated coconut 1 cup
  6. salt 1 teaspoon
  7. Curry leaves few
  8. coconut oil 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. TAKE 100 GMS FRESH COWPEAS,1CUP GRATED COCONUT,ASHGOURD,GREEN CHILLIES,GINGER,CURRY LEAVES
  2. PRESSURE COOK COW PEAS FOR 4 WHISTLES WITH SALT
  3. EXTRACT THICK AND THIN COCONUT MILK
  4. HEAT A HANDI AND ADD THIN COCONUT MILK
  5. ADD SLIT GREEN CHILLIES
  6. ADD FINELY CHOPPED GINGER
  7. ADD ASHGOURD
  8. ADD 1 TEASPOON SALT
  9. MIX WELL AND COOK IN HIGH FLAME
  10. DRAIN THE COOKED COW PEAS
  11. ONCE THE WATER LEVEL IS REDUCED TO HALF ADD THE COW PEAS
  12. COOK TILL ALL THE WATER CONTENT IS REDUCED
  13. NOW ADD THE THICK MILK AND SWITCH OFF BEFORE IT STARTS BOILING
  14. ADD FEW CURRY LEAVES
  15. ADD 1 TABLESPOON OF COCONUT OIL
  16. MIX WELL
  17. OLAN IS READY TO SERVE WITH RICE
