Garlic is good for health, it controls cholesterol, acts as anti-bacteria. It's rasam is so tasty and flavourful with the mixture of pineapple inspite of tamarind. It is an innovative recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Red chilli 3
  2. Cooking oil 3 tsp
  3. Jeera 1 1/2 tsp
  4. Coriander seeds 2 tsp
  5. Methi 1 tsp
  6. Channa dal 1 tsp
  7. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  8. Pineapple chunks 1/2 cup
  9. Curry leaves 2 string
  10. Water 4-5 cup
  11. Garlic cloves 10-12
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Jaggery 1 lemon sized
  14. Turmeric powder a pinch

Instructions

  1. HEAT A PAN, ADD DRY CHILLIES 3, JEERA 1 TSP , METHI 1 TSP
  2. CORIANDER SEEDS, CHANNA DAL, FRY TILL GOOD AROMA IN LOW FLAME
  3. SAUTE AND FRY
  4. GARLIC CLOVES 6-7
  5. CHOPPED TOMATO 1
  6. TURMERIC POWDER A PINCH
  7. PINEAPPLE CHUNKS 1/2 CUP
  8. CURRY LEAVES 1 STRING
  9. ADD SOME WATER AND GRIND
  10. GRIND SMOOTHLY
  11. HEAT 3 TSP OF OIL, LET SPLUTTER MUSTARD SEEDS
  12. FRY GARLIC CLOVES AND JEERA1/2 TSP
  13. ADD GROUND MASALA PASTE
  14. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER 3-4 CUP
  15. SALT TO TASTE
  16. JAGGERY 1 LEMON SIZED
  17. BRING IT TO BOIL, ADD CURRY LEAVES
  18. ALLOW IT TO BOIL FOR 4-5 MINUTES FINELY, TURN OFF THE FLAME AND SERVE WITH HOT RICE
