Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gullar - 1/2 kg
  2. onions - 2
  3. tomato - 1
  4. haldi - 1 tspn
  5. Red chilli powder - 1 tspn
  6. Black pepper powder - 1/ 2 tspn
  7. Dhaniya powder - 1. 1/2 tspn
  8. Garam masala - 1/2 tspn
  9. ginger garlic paste - 1 tspn
  10. salt
  11. oil
  12. water

Instructions

  1. CUT THE GULLARS INTO HALF AND BOIL THEM IN PRESSURE COOKER
  2. ALLOW FOR 2 WHISTLES AND THEN ALLOW THEM TO COOL
  3. HEAT OIL AND STIR FRY THE GULLARS
  4. MEANWHILE, TAKE HALDI IN A BOWL
  5. ADD CHILLI POWDER
  6. BLACK PEPPER POWDER
  7. DHANIYA POWDER
  8. GARAM MASALA
  9. ONCE THE GULLARS ARE COOKED WELL, KEEP IT ASIDE
  10. AGAIN HEAT OIL, ADD BAY LEAF, RED CHILLIES, CUMIN SEEDS
  11. ONCE THEY SPLUTTER, ADD CHOPPED ONIONS
  12. NOW ADD WATER TO THE MIXTURE OF MASALAS
  13. ADD ROUGHLY CHOPPED TOMATOES
  14. CHECK THE ONIONS HAVE BECOMES TRANSLUCENT
  15. ADD THE PREPARED MASALA MIX AND COOK
  16. ADD SALT
  17. GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  18. SAUTE THE MASALAS TILL THEY LEAVE OIL
  19. ADD THE COOKED GULLARS
  20. MIX WELL AND ADD WATER
  21. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER, COVER AND COOK FOR 10 MIN
  22. CHECK IF ITS BOILING PROPERLY
  23. MIX AND SWITCH OFF THE FLAME
