  1. chickpeas 1 cup
  2. Khada masala 2 tsp
  3. tea bag
  4. oil 2 tsp
  5. jeera 1 tsp
  6. 1 onion finely chopped
  7. 1 cup tomato puree
  8. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  9. 1 tsp corainder powder
  10. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  11. 2 tsp xholae masala
  12. 3 tsp tamarind pulp
  13. salt
  14. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  15. maida 2 cups
  16. curd 2 tsp
  17. Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  18. salt
  19. water to knead the dough
  20. oil to fry

Instructions

  1. SOAK 1 CUP CHICKPEAS IN WATER FOR 8 HRS.THEN PRESSURE COOK IT BY ADDING TEA BAG,KHADA MASALA ..
  2. PRESSURE COOK FOR 7-8 WHISTLES..
  3. LETS START WITH BATURAE..TAKE 2 CUPS OF MAIDA,1/2 TSP BAKING POWDER,SALT,2 TSP OIL..
  4. ADD 2 TSP CURD
  5. FORM A CRUMBLE TEXTURE OF MIXTURE
  6. NOW ADD LITTLE WATER AND FORM A SOFT DOUGH
  7. KNEAD THE DOUGH AND FORM A ROUND DOUGH
  8. NOW COVER THE DOUGH AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 30 MIN
  9. HEAT 2 TSP OIL,ADD JEERA AND 1 ONION FINELY CHOPPED AND COOK TILL BROWN
  10. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER,1 TSP CORIANDER POWDER,1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  11. ADD 2 TSP CHOLAE MASALA,1 TSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  12. ADD ONE CUP TOMATO PUREE AND COOK TILL IT LEAVES SIDES
  13. NOW ADD BOILED CHICKPEAS WITH WATER AND COOK
  14. ADD 2-3 TSP TAMARIND WATER AND COOK FOR TEN MIN
  15. ROLL BATURA INTO ROUND CHAPATIS
  16. FRY IT IN OIL BY PRESSING THE BATURES WHILE FRYING
