Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup paneer
  2. 3tbsp oil
  3. 3 onions
  4. 1 tomato
  5. 2 green chilli
  6. 1" ginger
  7. 15 cloves garlic
  8. 9 cashew
  9. 1/2 tsp Termeric
  10. 3 tsp chilli powder
  11. 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  12. salt as per taste
  13. 2 tsp kasuri methi
  14. 1/2 fresh curd
  15. 1 cup water
  16. 2 tsp Corrinder for garnish

Instructions

  1. HEAT 2 TBSP OIL, ADD 3 CHOPPED ONIONS, SAUTE FOR 2 MINS
  2. ADD 1 CHOPPED TOMATO, 1 INCH PIECE OF GINGER, 15 GARLIC CLOVES, 2 GREEN CHILLIES, SAUTE UNTIL SOFT
  3. THE MASALA IS DONE, ALLOW IT TO COOL A LITTLE, ADD TO A MIXER JAR, BLEND TILL SMOOTH
  4. MAKE A FINE PASTE LIKE THIS, SET ASIDE
  5. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL, ADD 1 BAY LEAF, 2 CLOVES, SAUTE FOR 2 MINS
  6. ADD 3 FINELY CHOPPED ONIONS, SAUTE UNTIL TRANSLUCENT
  7. ADD THE READY GROUND PASTE, SAUTE UNTIL THE MASALA LEAVES OIL
  8. ADD 1-2 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER, MIX
  9. ADD 1/2 CUP FRESH CURD, SALT TO TASTE, STIR BRISKLY ON LOW HEAT
  10. ADD 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA POWDER, MIX & COOK TILL THE MASALA LEAVES THE SIDES
  11. ADD 1 CUP WATER, 1 CUP CUBED COTTAGE CHEESE
  12. ADD 2 TSP LIGHTLY CRUSHED KASURI METHI, SIMMER FOR 1 MINUTE
  13. GARNISH WITH 1 TBSP CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, SERVE HOT WITH ROTIS
