ABOUT DHABA STYLE KHASTA PARATHAS AND TOASTER RECIPE

This is my favourite lunch ,when I am not in mood to cook too much .I often make this in my lunch.Tasty,easy to make recipe is loved by every one in my family.to enhance the taste u can also add mint leaves and onions chopped in paratha stuffing

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. potatoes 6 to 8
  2. Wheat flour 2 cups
  3. salt to taste
  4. Red chilli powder 2 tsp for paratha and 2 tsp for toaster
  5. Aamchur pwd 2 tsp for paratha and 2 tsp for toasters
  6. Bread
  7. Green chillies finely chopped 10 half for toaster and half for paratha
  8. ghee to fry paratha
  9. butter to cook toasters
  10. coriander leaves 1 cup

Instructions

  1. PRESSURE COOK POTATOES FOR 3 TO 4 WHISTLES.
  2. IN WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR ADD GHEE,SALT TO TASTE AND RED CHILLI POWDER .
  3. MIX WELL TO ACHIEVE CRUMBLY TEXTURE.
  4. ADD WATER AND PREPARE DOUGH.
  5. APPLY GHEE ON DOUGH AND REST FOR 10 MINUTES.
  6. IN A PLATE TAKE BOILED AND MASHED POTATOES AND FINELY CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES AND CORIANDER LEAVES.
  7. ADD SALT TO TASTE,RED CHILLI POWDER AND AAMCHUR POWDER.
  8. MIX WELL AND PREPARE STUFFING.
  9. ROLL THE DOUGH WITH ROLLING PIN AND APPLY GHEE ON IT IN GENEROUS AMOUNT.
  10. PUT STUFFING AND SEAL THE EDGES.
  11. ROLL SLOWLY WITH ROLLING PIN AS IT HAS MORE GHEE AND STUFFING THEN REGULAR PARATHA.
  12. HEAT THE GRIDDLE AND PLACE PARATHA ON IT.
  13. COOK BOTH THE SIDES THEN APPLY GENEROUS AMOUNT OF GHEE AND COOK TILL CRISP(KHASTA)
  14. YOUR DHABA STYLE KHASTA PARATHA IS READY.
  15. TO PREPARE TOASTER WASH N PEEL ONIONS,TOMATOES AND GREEN CHILLIES.
  16. FINELY CHOP ONIONS.
  17. FINELY CHOP TOMATO.
  18. ADD SALT,RED CHILLI POWDER AND AAMCHUR POWDER.
  19. ADD CORIANDER LEAVES AND MIX WELL.
  20. HEAT BUTTER IN GAS TOASTER MAKER.
  21. PUT STUFFING ON BREAD AND COVER WITH ANOTHER BREAD SLICE.
  22. KEEP IN TOASTER AND COOK THE BOTH THE SIDES.
  23. CUT WITH PIZZA CUTTER AND SERVE HOT.
  24. YOUR DHABA STYLE PARATHA AND TOASTER IS READY TO EAT.
