Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1cup mung
  2. 500 ml water
  3. 4 green chilli
  4. handful of coriander
  5. 1 cm ginger
  6. 1 onion diced
  7. one bunch of spinach
  8. one teaspoon garlic powder
  9. salt to taste
  10. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  11. one-half tsp turmeric
  12. 1 tsp cumin coriander powder
  13. 1tsp Garam masala
  14. 1tsp kasuri methi
  15. 1/4 tsp sugar
  16. 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  17. 1/4 Cup fresh cream

Instructions

  1. ADD 1 CUP WASHED MUNG IN COOKER
  2. ADD 1/2 TSP SALT AND WATER 500ML OR MORE, COVERED WITH LID AND COOK TILL 10 WHISTLE
  3. CHOP THE CORIANDER, 5 GREEN CHILLY AND HALF PIECE OF GINGER
  4. CHOP THE PALAK/ SPINACH
  5. CHURN
  6. PAPAK PASTE
  7. CHOP 1 ONION IN SMALL DIECE
  8. HEAT 3 TBSP OIL
  9. ADD 1 TSP MUSTARD SEED AND 1 TSP CUMIN SEED
  10. ADD CHILLY , GINGER AND SAUTE
  11. ADD ONION AND SAUTE
  12. PINCH OF SALT
  13. 1TSP GARLIC POWDER
  14. 1TSP RED CHILLY POWDER, 1/2 TSP TURMERIC, 1TSP CUMIN CORIANDER POWDER
  15. SALT TO TASTE AND MIX
  16. ADD SPINACH PASTE AND MIX .COOK FOR FEW MINUTES ON LAW FLAME
  17. ADD MUNG AND MIX
  18. ADD 1, 1/2 CUP OF WATER AND MIX ,THEN COOK FOR FEW MINUTES TILL OIL CAN SEE ON TOP OF VEJ
  19. HAND FULL OF CORIANDER
  20. 1TSP KASURI METHI AND 1 TSP GARAM MASALA
  21. STIR CONTINUOUSLY , ADD 1/4 CUP FRESH CREAM
  22. MIX
  23. ADD 1/4 TSP SUGAR AND 1/4 TSP CARDAMOM POWDER MIX AND TURN OFF THE GAS
  24. PALAK MUNG VEJ
