  1. 1 cup Moong Dal wadi
  2. 1 tbsp peanuts
  3. 1 bay leaf
  4. 1 cinnamon stick
  5. 1 star anise
  6. 4 to 5 black pepper corn
  7. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  8. 3 Onion cut in julien
  9. 6 to 8 nicely chopped garlic
  10. 1 inch nicely chopped ginger
  11. 1 tomato chopped
  12. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  13. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  14. 2 green chillies nicely chopped
  15. 1 tbsp whisk curd
  16. 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  17. Fresh chopped corriender
  18. Salt according to taste
  19. 2 tbsp oil for cooking
  20. Lemon slice for serve

Instructions

  1. ROAST 1 TBSP PEANUTS IN A KADHAI
  2. WHEN DONE LEFT IT OUT
  3. WHEN IT'S COOL PEEL IT AND COARSALY CRUSHED IT
  4. NOW HEAT OIL IN A KADHAI ADD 1 CUP MOONG DAL WADI
  5. FRY IT
  6. WHEN DONE LEFT IT OUT
  7. WHEN IT'S COOL COARSALY CRUSHED IT
  8. LIKE THIS
  9. NOW HOT OIL IN KADHAI ADD 1 BAY LEAF,1 CINNAMON STICK,1 STAR ANISE AND 4 TO 5 BLACK PEPPER CORN
  10. NOW ADD 1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS IN IT
  11. ADD 3 ONION CUT IN JULIEN
  12. FRY IT
  13. WHEN ONION SOFT AND TRANSLUCENT IN COLOUR ADD NICELY CHOPPED 6 TO 8 GARLIC AND 1 INCH GINGER
  14. STIR IT
  15. ADD 1 TOMATO AND COOK IT
  16. NOW ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  17. 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER
  18. ADD SALT ACCORDING TO TASTE
  19. SAUTE ALL ON MEDIUM FLAME
  20. NOW ADD 1 TBSP WHISK CURD
  21. STIR IT FOR HALF A MINUTE
  22. ADD FRY AND CRUSHED MOONG DAL WADI IN THIS
  23. ADD 2 NICELY CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES
  24. NOW AGAIN MIX WELL
  25. ADD LITTLE AMOUNT OF WATER AND COOK THE WADI ON LOW FLAME FOR 2 TO 3 MINUTES
  26. WHEN WADI COOK ADD ROAST AND CRUSHED PEANUTS
  27. MIX WELL
  28. ADD 1/2 TSP ROASTED CUMIN POWDER AND MIX
  29. NOW FINALLY ADD FRESH CHOPPED CORRIENDER AND MIX ALL
