Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. french beans 200 grams
  2. onion 1
  3. Red Chillies 2-3
  4. grated coconut 2 tablespoons
  5. curry leaves few
  6. coconut oil 1 tablespoon
  7. mustard seeds half tablespoon
  8. urad dal 1 teaspoon
  9. asafoetida a Pinch
  10. salt accordingly

Instructions

  1. ADD 200 GMS OF FINELY CHOPPED FRENCH BEANS IN A PRESSURE COOKER
  2. ADD ADEQUATE SALT
  3. ADD 1 TEASPOON OF COCONUT OIL
  4. ADD 1TABLESPOON OF WATER
  5. TOSS WELL
  6. PRESSURE COOK FOR 1 WHISTLE IN HIGH FLAME
  7. RELEASE THE PRESSURE SLOWLY. THIS HELPS IN GETTING NICE GREEN COLOUR
  8. BEANS IS COOKED WITH THE GREEN COLOUR BEING RETAINED
  9. HEAT 1 TABLESPOON OF COCONUT OIL
  10. ADD 1/2 TEASPOON MUSTARD SEEDS
  11. ADD 1 TEASPOON URAD DAL
  12. ADD 1 CHOPPED ONION
  13. STIR WELL
  14. ADD 2-3 BROKEN RED CHILLIES
  15. ADD FEW CURRY LEAVES
  16. ADD A PINCH OF ASAFOETIDA
  17. STIR WELL
  18. ADD THE COOKED BEANS
  19. STIR WELL
  20. ADD 2 TABLESPOONS OF GRATED COCONUT. AND MIX WELL
  21. BEANS THORAN IS READY
