ABOUT Mutton aloo jhola RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Mutton 500 gm
  2. curd 1/2cup
  3. onion 1 sliced
  4. Green chilli 2-3 slited
  5. Bayleaf 2
  6. potato 2-3cut into halves
  7. tomato 1 chopped
  8. ginger garlic paste 2tsp
  9. onion paste 1tsp
  10. turmeric powder 1 tsp
  11. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  12. Kashmiri red chilli powder 1tsp
  13. Garam masala powder 1tsp
  14. salt as per taste
  15. mustard oil 4tbsp
  16. Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. ADD SALT,
  2. CURD AND
  3. MUSTARD OIL.
  4. MIX WELL.
  5. FRY THE POTATO PIECES WITH SALT AND TURMERIC POWDER TILL BROWN FROM ALL SIDES.
  6. TAKE OUT AND KEEP ASIDE.
  7. HEAT 2TBSP MUSTARD OIL IN A COOKER.
  8. ADD BAY LEAVES, GREEN CHILLIES AND
  9. SLICED ONIONS.
  10. MIX WELL.
  11. ADD LITTLE SALT AND SAUTE FOR 3-4MINS.
  12. ADD ONION PASTE, MIX WELL AND COOK FOR 2MINS.
  13. ADD GINGER GARLIC PASTE, MIX AND COOK FURTHER FEW MINS.
  14. ADD TURMERIC POWDER, RED CHILLI POWDER AND
  15. LITTLE WATER, MIX WELL.
  16. WHEN OIL LEAVES THE SIDES, ADD THE MARINATED MUTTON PIECES.
  17. MIX WELL AND COOK FOR FEW MINS.
  18. ADD CHOPPED TOMATO, GARAM MASALA POWDER,
  19. SALT TO TASTE AND
  20. KASHMIRI RED CHILLI POWDER.
  21. MIX WELL AND COOK FURTHER FEW MINS.
  22. ADD THE FRIED POTATO PIECES AND MIX WELL.
  23. ADD 2CUPS OF HOT WATER AND MIX.
  24. COVER THE LID AND COOK FOR 2 WHISTLES ON MEDIUM FLAME.
  25. OPEN THE LID AND GARNISH WITH CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES.
