Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 300 gram taro roots
  2. For marination, 1/2 tsp carom seeds
  3. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  4. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  5. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  6. 1/2 tsp dry ginger powder
  7. 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  8. 1/2 tsp chat masala
  9. 1 tsp tandoori masala
  10. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  11. 1/8 tsp tandoori colour
  12. 1/2 curd
  13. 1 tsp lemon juice
  14. 3/4 tsp salt or adjust as taste
  15. For tempting, 1 tsp cumin seeds
  16. 1/4 tsp carom seeds
  17. 1 julien onion
  18. 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
  19. 1 cup grind tomato
  20. salt as per taste
  21. 1/4 cup curd
  22. 3 green chillies slit
  23. 1 tbsp caramlized onion
  24. 1 bowl already boiled basmati rice
  25. 1 boiled and sliced egg
  26. Fresh chopped corriender
  27. For garnish, Some onion and tomato slice and fresh chopped corriender

Instructions

  1. PEEL AND NICELY WASHED 300 GRAM TARO ROOTS IN A BOWL AND ADD 1/2 TSP CAROM SEEDS
  2. 1/2 TSP SALT
  3. 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA
  4. 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER
  5. 1/2 TSP BLACK PEPPER POWDER
  6. 1/2 TSP DRY GINGER POWDER
  7. 1/2 TSP ROASTED CUMIN POWDER
  8. 1/2 TSP CHAT MASALA POWDER
  9. 1 TSP TANDOORI MASALA
  10. 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  11. 1/8 TSP TANDOORI COLOUR
  12. 1/2 CURD
  13. 1 TSP LEMON JUICE MIX ALL NICELY
  14. COVER THIS AND LEFT TO 1 HOUR FOR MARINATE
  15. AFTER MARINATION HEAT OIL IN KADHAI AND START TO FRY MARINATE TARO ROOTS
  16. WHEN COMPLETELY COOK AND CRISP KEEP OUT FROM OIL
  17. FRY ALL ROOTS LIKE THIS
  18. NOW ADD 1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS IN SAME OIL
  19. ADD 1/4 TSP CAROM SEEDS
  20. 1 JULIEN ONION
  21. 1 TSP GINGER AND GARLIC PASTE
  22. 1 CUP GRIND TOMATO
  23. ADD SALT ACCORDING TO TASTE
  24. 1/4 CUP CURD
  25. MIX NICELY
  26. ADD LEFT OVER TANDOORI MASALA
  27. 3 GREEN CHILLIES
  28. 1 TBSP CARAMLIZED ONION
  29. NOW ADD FRY TARO ROOTS AND ONE EGG ALREADY BOILED AND SLICED
  30. NOW ADD ALREADY BOILED 1 BOWL BASMATI RICE
  31. NOW MIX ALL
  32. COVER IT TO COOK AND ALL FLAVOUR INCORPORATE
  33. FINALLY ADD CHOPPED CORRIENDER AND MIX NOW SWITCH OF STOVE
  34. NOW TANDOORI TARO AND EGG RICE READY TO SERVE
