  1. For sambar:
  2. Raddish - 3 sliced
  3. Toor dal - 1 cup
  4. Tamarind extract-1/2 cup
  5. Tomato-1 sliced
  6. Onion-1 sliced
  7. Cumin seeds-1/2 spoon
  8. Garlic-4cloves
  9. Hing-1/2 spoon
  10. Chilly powder-1 1/2spoon
  11. Sambar powder-2 table spoon
  12. Turmeric powder-1/2 spoon
  13. For Poryal:
  14. Cabbage-1cup chopped
  15. Carrot-1/2cup chopped
  16. Onion-1 chopped
  17. Mustard seeds-1/2 spoon
  18. Curry leaves
  19. Oil
  20. Green chilly-2
  21. Garlic -3cloves
  22. Cumin seeds-1/2spoon
  23. Coconut-3pieces
  24. Salt

Instructions

  1. IN COOKER, ADD SOAKED DAL AND CUMIN SEEDS
  2. ADD 4 CLOVES GARLIC
  3. ADD TURMERIC POWDER
  4. ADD HING
  5. ADD REQUIRED WATER AND WAIT FOR 4 WHISTLES
  6. IN PAN , ADD 2 SPOON OIL
  7. ADD SLICED ONION
  8. ADD SLICED RADISH
  9. SAUTE IT WELL
  10. ADD WITH COOKED DAL
  11. ADD TOMATOES
  12. ADD TAMARIND EXTRACT
  13. ADD CHILLY POWDER
  14. ADD SALT
  15. ADD SAMBAR POWDER AND REQUIRED WATER. WAIT FOR THREE WHISTLES
  16. IN PAN, ADD OIL
  17. ADD MUSTARD SEEDS
  18. ADD CURRY LEAVES
  19. AND POUR THE BOILD VEG MIX
  20. ALLOW IT TO BOIL
  21. IN PAN, ADD OIL
  22. ADD MUSTARD SEEDS
  23. ADD GREEN CHILLIES
  24. ADD ONION
  25. ADD CURRY LEAVES
  26. ADD WASHED CABBAGE AND CARROTS
  27. SAUTE IT WELL
  28. ADD SALT
  29. ADD LITTLE BIT WATER
  30. CLOSE IT AND WAIT FOR 10 MINUTES
  31. IN MIXER GRINDER, ADD COCONUT, CUMIN SEEDS,GARLIC CLOVES AND GRIND IT WITHOUT WATER
  32. ADD COCONUT MIXTURE WITH VEGETABLES
  33. STIR IT WELL
