Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gongura 1 bunch
  2. hing
  3. salt
  4. Tadka 1 to grind
  5. coriander seeds 1.5 tbsp
  6. jeera 1 tsp
  7. Channa dal 1 tsp
  8. methi 1/4 tsp
  9. Green chillies 6
  10. Tadka 2
  11. oil 5 tbsp
  12. mustard
  13. Channa dal
  14. Urad dal
  15. Red chillies
  16. garlic 6-10
  17. Curry leaves

Instructions

  1. RINSE AND CLEAN 1 BUNCH GONGURA LEAVES
  2. BOIL 1/2 CUP WATER
  3. ADD GONGURA LEAVES
  4. COOK GONGURA LEAVES. IT COOKS IN 2-3 MINUTES
  5. SET ASIDE
  6. ADD 1.5 TBSP CORIANDER SEEDS
  7. ADD 1 TSP JEERA
  8. ADD 1 TSP CHANNA DAL
  9. ADD 1/4 TSP METHI
  10. TAKE 6 GREEN CHILLIES
  11. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL. ADD SPICES.
  12. SAUTE
  13. ADD 6 SLIT GREEN CHILLIES
  14. SAUTE TILL DAL COLOUR CHANGES TO GOLDEN BROWN
  15. ADD TADKA TO GONGURA LEAVES AND ADD PINCH OF HING
  16. ADD REQUIRED SALT AND COOL THE MIXTURE
  17. ADD TO BLENDER AND GRIND TO SMOOTH PASTE
  18. HEAT 5 TBSP OIL. ADD MUSTARD. ALLOW TO CRACK
  19. ADD 1 TSP CHANNA DAL
  20. ADD 1 TSP URAD DAL
  21. ADD 3 RED CHILLIES
  22. ADD 6-10 GARLICS
  23. ADD GONGURA PASTE
  24. MIX WITH TADKA. COOK ON LOW FLAME FOR 5 MINUTES
  25. WHEN COLOR SLIGHTLY CHANGES, TURN OFF FLAME
  26. SERVE WITH RICE
