ABOUT Curd rice RECIPE

Curd rice is my comfort food ,this is loved by adults and good for kids also ,rice and curd is good combination its good for diabitic and diarrohoea patients also

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1cup of rice
  2. 1cup of fresh curd
  3. Curry leaves
  4. 1/2tsp of cummin seeds
  5. 1cucumber grated
  6. Some pomegranate
  7. 1tsp oil
  8. 1/2tsp urad dal
  9. 1/2tsp mustard seeds
  10. 1tsp cashewnuts chopped

Instructions

  1. SOAK RICE FOR 1/2AN HOUR
  2. PRESSURE COOK THEM WITH ENOUGH WATER
  3. ADD SALT WHILE COOKING
  4. TOTALLY COOL COOKED RICE
  5. TAKE IN SEPARATE BOWL
  6. ADD CURD
  7. ADD SALT TO TASTE AS WE HAD ADDED SALT WHILE COOKING RICE ALSO
  8. MIX PROPERLY TILL RICE AND CURD INCORPORATES WELL WITH EACH OTHER
  9. ADD 1TSP OF MALAI (OPTIONAL)
  10. PEEL A CUCUMBER
  11. GRATE IT
  12. ADD GRATED CUCUMBER TO RICE
  13. ADD 1TSP OF OIL TO A SMALL KADAI
  14. ADD 1/2TSP EACH OF CUMMIN SEEDS,MUSTARD SEEDS AND URAD DAL
  15. ADD CURRY LEAVES AND LITTLE CASHEWNUTS
  16. STIR IT NICELY
  17. ADD THIS TO RICE
  18. GIVE A GOOD STIR
  19. SERVE IN SERVING BOWL
  20. TOP WITH SOME POMEGRANATE
