Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Tamarind 1 lemon sized
  2. Water 4 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Jaggery syrup 1/2 cup
  5. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  6. Red chilli 1
  7. Curry leaves few
  8. Garlic cloves 10-12
  9. Asafoetida a pinch
  10. Jeera 1/2 tsp
  11. Ajwain 1/4 tsp
  12. Black pepper powder 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. SOAK THE TAMARIND IN WATER FOR 30 MINUTES.
  2. ADD PEPPER POWDER, JEERA, ASAFOETIDA TO IT.
  3. SALT, AJWAIN, JAGGERY SYRUP
  4. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER
  5. CRUSH GARLIC CLOVES
  6. PEEL THEM AND CHOP
  7. BOILING TAMARIND RASAM
  8. HEAT OIL, LET CRACKLE MUSTARD SEEDS
  9. ADD RED CHILLI AND CURRY LEAVES
  10. FRY CHOPPED GARLIC CLOVES TILL GOLDEN BROWN
  11. ADD SEASONING AND SERVE
