Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Red rice 1 cup
  2. Methi seeds 1/2 cup
  3. Methi leaves chopped 1/2 cup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Fresh turmeric root 1/2 inch
  6. Ajwain 1/2 tsp
  7. Dry ginger powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Water 3/4 ltr
  9. Jaggery syrup 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. CLEANLY WASH A CUP OF RED RICE
  2. 2 HOURS SOAKED METHI, CHOPPED METHI LEAVES
  3. AJWAIN, SALT TO TASTE, CHOPPED TURMERIC ROOT
  4. DRY GINGER POWDER, WATER
  5. COVER AND COOK FOR 5-6 WHISTLES OR TILL SMOOTH, IT DEPENDS ON COOKER
  6. AFTER COOL TRANSFER INTO A PAN
  7. BRING IT TO BOIL TILL THICK
  8. ADD JAGGERY SYRUP
  9. MIX WELL, ALLOW IT TO BOIL FOR 2-3 MINUTES IN MEDIUM FLAME, TAKE OFF FLAME AND SERVE
