Instructions
WASH AND CHOP VERDOLAGA OR NELABASALE OR MALBAR SPINACH WHICH GROWS ON GROUND
ADD SUFFICIENT WATER AND CHOPPED SPINACH
ADD SALT TO TASTE, COVER AND COOK
OPEN THE LID, CHECK THE COOKNESS, TAKE OFF FLAME
HEAT OIL
METHI 1/2 TSP, MUSTARD SEEDS 1 TSP, JEERA 1/2 TSP
CORIANDER SEEDS 1 TBSP
BYADAGI CHILLI 5-6
FRY TILL GOOD AROMA IN LOW FLAME, ADD TURMERIC POWDER 1/4 TSP
TURN OFF THE FLAME ADD CURRY LEAVES AND CONTINUE SAUTE
COCONUT GRATINGS 2 CUP
TAMARIND, WATER
ADD FRIED MASALA
GRIND SMOOTHLY
TRANSFER GROUND MASALA PASTE INTO COOKED SPINACH, ADD SUFFICIENT WATER IF REQUIRED
ADD JAGGERY SYRUP
MIX WELL AND BRING IT TO BOIL FINELY
HEAT OIL ADD MUSTARD SEEDS AND RED CHILLI, LET IT SPLUTTER
ADD CURRY LEAVES
ADD SEASONING
BRING IT TO BOIL FINELY
TAKE OFF FLAME AND SERVE WITH HOT RICE
