ABOUT Traditional Butter Chicken RECIPE

This is a v traditional way to make butter chicken where tomaotes and chciken are chargrilled on the gas stove.Believe me once you try this recipe you will never go back to any other recipe

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. chicken boneless 500 grms
  2. tomatoes 5
  3. cashew NUTS POWDER 4 tbsp
  4. butter 2 tbsp
  5. GINGER garlic PASTE 2 TBSP
  6. 1 TBSP GARAM masala POWDER
  7. 1 TBSP RED CHILLI POWDER
  8. 1 CUP THICK yogurt
  9. 4 garlic CLOVES
  10. 10 RED KASHMIRI CHILLIES
  11. 1 TBSP oil
  12. KASURI methi 1 TBSP

Instructions

  1. IN 500NGRMS CHICKEN ADD 2 TBSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  2. ADD 1 TBSP GARAM MASALA PWDR(PREFER HOME MADE)
  3. ADD 1 TBSP RED CHILLIE PWDR
  4. ADD 1 CUP THICK YOGURT
  5. MIX EVERYTHING AND LET IT MARINATE FOR 2 HRS MIN
  6. MEANWHILE CHAR TOMATOES ON THE STOVE.DIRECTLY BURN THEM ON THE STOVE FIRE.WE WILL NEED 5 TOMATOES
  7. IT SHOULD TURN ALL BLACK
  8. PUT THE TOMATOES IN WATER
  9. THE SKIN WILL COME OFF EASILY
  10. IN A GRINDER ADD 4 GARLIC CLOVES,10 RED KASHMIRI CHILLIES,CHARED TOMATOES & 1 TBSP OIL
  11. GRIND TO A SMOOTH PASTE AND KEEP ASIDE
  12. IN 2 TBSP BUTTER ADD THE MARINATED CHICKEN
  13. FRY THE CHICKRN TILL ITS HALF COOKED
  14. TAKE EACH CHCIKEN PC IN A TONG AND CHAR GRILL THEM IN OPEN FIRE
  15. ONCE ALL THE CHICKEN PCS ARE DONE PUT THEM BACK IN THE PAN
  16. ADD OUR TOMATO PASTE
  17. ONCE THE GRAVY STARTS TO BUBBLE ADD 5 TBSP CASHEW POWDER
  18. ADD 1 TBSP TAWA ROASTED KASURI METHI FOR THAT AMAZING FLAVOUR
  19. COVER AND LET IT SIMMER TILL 20 TO 25 MINS
  20. ONCE THE BUTTER SEPARATES CLOSE THE GAS
