Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Idlis 6
  2. curd 1+1/2 cup
  3. coconut milk 1/4 cup
  4. ginger 2"
  5. Green chilies 2
  6. Green coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  7. salt 1 tesp
  8. sugar 1 tesp
  9. Red chilli powder 1/2 tesp
  10. oil 2 tesp
  11. Mustard seeds 1/2 tesp
  12. asafoetida a pinch
  13. Curry leaves 5-6

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1.5 CUPS COLD CURD, ADD 1/4 CUP COCONUT MILK, 1 TSP GRATED GINGER, 2 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES
  2. ADD 1 TBSP CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, 1 TSP SUGAR, 1/2 TSP SALT
  3. HEAT 1 TSP OIL, ADD 1/2 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS, A PINCH OF ASAFOETIDA, 5-6 CURRY LEAVES
  4. ADD THE SIZZLING TADKA TO THE CURD MIXTURE
  5. BRUSH FEW IDLIS WITH SOME OIL
  6. SPRINKLE SOME SALT & RED CHILLI POWDER ON TOP
  7. PLACE THE IDLIS ON A HOT NON-STICK TAVA, GRILL FOR 1 MINUTE
  8. FLIP & COOK FROM THE OTHER SIDE FOR 1 MINUTE
  9. ARRANGE THE GRILLED IDLIS ON A PLATTER, TOP WITH THE TEMPERED CURD MIX
  10. GARNISH WITH GINGER JULIENNES & SLIT GREEN CHILIES, SERVE CHILLED
