  1. Channa Dal-1 cup
  2. salt
  3. tamarind extract -1/2 cup
  4. Fennel seeds-1 spoon
  5. Coconut- 1 cup
  6. Curry leaves
  7. Hing-1/2 spoon
  8. onion -1 chopped
  9. Mustard seeds-1/2 spoon
  10. chilly powder-2 spoon
  11. Corriander powder -3 spoon
  12. turmeric powder-1 spoon
  13. Gingelly oil

Instructions

  1. SOAK 1 CUP CHANNA DAL
  2. GRIND IT WITHOUT WATER(NOT LIKE A FINE GRIND)
  3. ADD ONION
  4. ADD HING
  5. ADD CHILLY POWDER
  6. ADD TURMERIC POWDER
  7. ADD CHOPPED CURRY LEAVES
  8. MIX IT WELL
  9. ADD REQUIRED SALT AND MIX IT
  10. IN MIXER GRINDER ADD COCONUT AND FENNEL SEEDS. GRIND IT LIKE A PASTE
  11. IN PAN, ADD GINGELLY OIL
  12. ADD MUSTARD SEEDS
  13. ADD CURRY LEAVES
  14. ADD CHOPPED ONION
  15. ADD SALT
  16. ADD CHILLY POWDER
  17. ADD CORRIANDER POWDER
  18. ADD TAMARIND EXTRACT
  19. ADD COCONUT PASTE
  20. ADD REQUIRED WATER AND LET IT BOIL
  21. SHAPE THE DAL MIXTURE LIKE THIS
  22. PUT THE DAL BALLS INTO THE GRAVY (SIM FLAME)
  23. CLOSE IT AND LET IT COOK IN SIM FLAME
  24. ENJOY WITH HOT RICE AND IDLIES
