Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ladies finger 250 gms
  2. Thick tamarind extract
  3. onion 2
  4. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  5. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  6. 1 tbsp sambar powder
  7. salt
  8. Sesame oil 5 tbsp
  9. mustard
  10. methi
  11. curry leaves
  12. 3 red chillies

Instructions

  1. RINSE AND CLEAN 250 GMS LADIES FINGER
  2. CHOP THEM OF EQUAL SIZE
  3. SOAK BIG LEMON SIZE TAMARIND FOR 15 MINUTES AND GET EXTRACT
  4. HEAT 5 TBSP SESAME OIL. ADD MUSTARD
  5. ADD 1 TSP METHI
  6. ADD 3 RED CHILLIES
  7. ADD 2 CHOPPED ONION
  8. SAUTE TILL ONION TURNS TRANSLUCENT
  9. ADD CURRY LEAVES
  10. ADD CHOPPED LADIES FINGER. SAUTE
  11. COOK LADIES FINGER ON LOW FLAME
  12. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  13. ADD 1 TBSP RED CHILLI POWDER
  14. ADD 1 TBSP SAMBAR POWDER
  15. ADD REQUIRED SALT
  16. MIX
  17. ADD TAMARIND EXTRACT
  18. BOIL GRAVY TILL OIL SEPARATES
  19. MIX 1 TBSP RICE FLOUR WITH 1/4 CUP WATER
  20. ADD SLURRY TO THICKEN. MIX
  21. TURN OFF FLAME WHEN OIL SEPARATES FROM GRAVY
  22. SERVE HOT WITH DAL RICE
