ABOUT Nawabi tofu curry RECIPE

This is a rich nawabi tofu curry we all know that tofu is very healthy so i use it instead of paneer in this vegetable.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup tofu cut in cubes
  2. 1 large onion
  3. 7 cashews
  4. 7 almonds
  5. 2 tbsp Soaked poppy seeds
  6. 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  7. 4-5 green chilly
  8. 1/2 cup curd
  9. Salt as per taste
  10. 2 tsp pepper powder
  11. 1 cup milk
  12. 1 tsp saffron syrup or saffron sprigs soaked in milk
  13. 1 tbsp kasoori methi
  14. 1 tbsp ghee
  15. 1tsp oil
  16. 1 tsp jeera
  17. 2 cloves
  18. 2 cardmon
  19. 1 bayleaf
  20. 1 chakri phool
  21. 1/2 tsp cinnemon powder

Instructions

  1. CHOP ONION IN BIG PIECES AND WASH
  2. ADD IN MIXI AND MAKE PASTE OF ONION AND ALSO MAKE PASTE OF CASHEW, ALMOND AND POPPY SEEDS
  3. HEAT GHEE IN PAN AND ADD OIL
  4. ADD JEERA AND BAY LEAF
  5. CLOVES,CARDMON AND CHAKRI PHOOL
  6. WHEN THEY SPLUTTER ADD GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  7. ROAST IT AND ADD ONION PASTE
  8. ADD GREEN CHILLI AND COOK ONION PASTE
  9. NOW ADD CASHEW ALMOND PASTE AND MIX IN ONION PASTE AND COOK
  10. LET IT COOK ADD CURD
  11. MIX AND STIR
  12. COOK FOR 2-3 MIN.
  13. ADD SALT AND PEPPER
  14. MIX AND ADD MILK
  15. COOK AND ADD SAFFRON
  16. MIX IT IN GRAVY
  17. RUB KASOORI METHI IN PALM AND ADD
  18. FINALLY ADD TOFU CUBES AND COOK FOR 3-4 MIN LET IT MIX IN GRAVY
  19. WHEN BOIL COME TURN OFF GAS
  20. SERVE HOT
  21. WITH NAAN OR ROTI
